for independent clothing brands
Most small fashion brands reach a point where the photography is holding them back. The product is good, the brand identity is there — but the images aren’t doing the work they need to. That’s usually when people get in touch.
I shoot eCommerce fashion photography for independent London clothing brands from my studio in Camberwell — on-model product shots, lookbook images, and lifestyle content for social. The brief varies by brand, but the goal is always the same: images that convert browsers into buyers.
Clients include Komi Studios, Rhaika London, Omnitau Clothing, Skimmed Milk, and Art Of War.
Detail, lighting, and
getting it right on the day
My training was in textile design, which means fabric, texture, and the behaviour of clothing have been part of how I see since long before photography. On a product shoot that matters — the drape of a seam, the weight of a fabric, the way a collar sits. These are the details that make an image feel considered rather than knocked off.
Lighting is built from scratch for each shoot, tested on the actual garments before we commit to anything. I’d rather spend thirty minutes dialling in a setup than shoot two hundred frames that don’t quite work. It’s an iterative process: look at what the camera’s seeing, adjust, try again. By the time we’re in full production, everything is locked in.
Most shoots also produce short vertical video clips alongside the stills — useful for Instagram Reels and TikTok without the need to book a separate video day. It’s built into the way I shoot rather than treated as an afterthought.

One shoot,
two content formats
The Komi Studios shoot is a good example of how I approach eCommerce work. The brief was product-led — activewear that needed to read clearly on a white background — but Komi also wanted content that would work on social. Rather than booking two separate days, we built both into the same shoot.
The stills were lit and styled for the product pages: clean, controlled, the garments doing the talking. The video clips were shot in the same session, same lighting, same models — vertical format for Reels and TikTok. Because both formats were planned together from the start rather than one being tacked on, they feel like they belong to the same campaign rather than two different shoots.
It’s not something I offer as an add-on — it’s built into how I work. If your brand needs both stills and short-form video, that conversation is worth having before the shoot day rather than on it.
Let’s talk about your project.
